OfficesChair.com publishes buying guides for office chairs, desks and the equipment people use at them every day. We started in 2026 because most chair advice online is either a list of Amazon bestsellers or a sales page, and neither tells you whether a chair will fit your body and desk.

What we publish

  • Chair and desk buying guides organized by need: back pain, long hours, body size, small spaces and budget.
  • Fit and setup guides that explain seat height, seat depth, lumbar position, armrest height and desk height in plain terms.
  • Repair and maintenance how-tos for the problems chairs actually develop: sinking cylinders, squeaks, worn casters and peeling upholstery.
  • Guides to the rest of the workspace: monitors, keyboards, lighting and home-office networking.

How our guides are made

Our picks are based on published specifications, warranty terms, adjustment ranges and patterns in verified owner reviews. We have not sat in every chair we list, and we do not claim to. When a writer has used a product themselves, the article says so; when a recommendation comes from research, we say that too. The full process, including how we choose and update picks, is on our How We Research page.

How we make money

We earn commissions when readers buy through some of our links, including as an Amazon Associate. That never changes the price you pay, and no brand pays to be included or ranked. Details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.
